Ritualistically on every Monday of May, the New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art hosts its annual Costume Institute Gala where fashion designers, artists, models, musicians and actors come together to celebrate art unveiling the fashion institute’s blockbuster exhibition. Year after year the Met Gala red carpet has owned a reputation for being the most anticipated and creatively diverse fashion moment of the season. A pair of trousers has become the subtle everyday style statement for both men and women. At The Store X, 180 Strand, The London Fashion week Fall 2019 spread its red carpet on 15 th February continuing to 19 th .   The show seemed to be carried away with the mood of the retro era complying with the fashion palate set in the previous show for the year. The show saw some grand, voluminous evening wear at  Erdem  and  Roksanda , and Matty Bovan , too who spin it in a witchy way with his own signature style.  Simone Rocha presented sequined dresses, which addressed all ages and shapes of womankind that again was one of the raving socio-fashion images of the year. A brand new event on the Fashion Colander to look forward this year is Vegan Fashion Week on February 1 to 4. In the biggest city in the United States to ban the use of fur, Los Angeles, the first Vegan Fashion Week is going to commence boasting more than 150 vegan-friendly establishments. PETA has named LA as America’s most vegan city for 2018. As an aside, California is also the first state to demand pet shops sell only rescue animals. The Vegan Fashion Week promises to bring cruelty-free options to the fashion crowd. The four-day show set up and curetted by Emmanuelle Rienda, an animal-rights activist and vegan fashion stylist, aims to raise awareness of the ethical, social and environmental issues that surround the fashion industry, as well as offering sustainable alternatives.
